The customer shift from do-it-yourself (DIY) to as-a-service is happening now. Service providers are mobilizing their managed service offerings to take advantage of this customer buying shift. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) via its Aruba business is uniquely positioned as the edge-to-cloud company, thanks to our leading as-aservice solutions. Due to the high growth, we are investing in a new team of service provider sales and technical specialists. Enabling service providers to quickly scale and adapt to new revenue opportunities. This role will be focused on building as-a-service revenue streams via our service provider partners.

You will be a virtual leader, a sales expert, the go to person for service providers and our as a-service offering for this market segment. As a Service Provider Sales Specialist
Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline within a given set of named Service Providers
Accurate quarterly forecasting of pipeline
Achieving and exceeding quota
Lead negotiations and signing of new as-a-service agreements with service providers
Grow the number of ‘productizations’ of HPE solutions within the service provider
Work and support the service providers with Sales Engagements with direct end customers Maintains knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company’s products and services better.
Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.
Development of quota objectives and future direction for defined product category Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the Service Provider, up to and including the C-level, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the Service Provider
Directs or coordinates supporting sales activities into the service providers
About You:
University or bachelor’s degree / directly related previous work experience
Trained and experienced in large account selling methodologies a must
Background in selling as-a-service cloud solutions highly regarded
Background in selling LAN & WAN solutions or transport links (MPLS, Broadband) highly regarded Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher-level customer interface Extensive selling experience to Service Providers, or working within a service providers.
Project management skills required.
Typically, 8-12 years of advanced sales experience
