Job Description:
Reporting to AVP, Valuation Actuary this position responsible to provide financial reporting under Canadian GAAP basis, in particular, to support IFRS 17 reporting implementation.
Preferred skills
- Good Actuarial knowledge
- Good analytical skill
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
- Preferably have experience of AXIS Actuarial Software
- Preferably have experience in CGAAP valuation
- Preferably have basic concept in IFRS 17
Qualifications
- Graduated from university with majoring mathematical
- Hold associate actuarial degree
- Have 2-3 years experiences in Actuarial
- Good in both written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Provide financial reporting under Canadian GAAP basis including reserving and earning at risk. The reports must be correct, reasonable and follow actuarial standard requirements.
- Provide value of new business including its movement analysis.
- Provide projected financial number for company business plan including the sensitivities result.
- Perform source of earnings analysis with ensuring that the result is produced by proper modelling and supported by reasonable analysis.
