Responsible for the development and implementation of the policies and procedures to mitigate the risks within our Payments and Fintech businesses, to ensure that the business is in line with the agreed Risk parameters.
Lead and Review on the development of new products, marketing and pricing campaigns that affects the risk profile of the customer and portfolio.
Define operational risk management requirements and own the associated monitoring, control and forecasting.
Responsible for development of the Risk management strategies as well as interpreting the risk appetite to different products and business lines.
Monitor and report on the performance against all key metrics including forward looking views with early escalation of trends and variations to ensure continued adherence to Risk Appetite.
Liaise with different stakeholders within the business to identify and measure on the payment and fintech team risk exposure for the company
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, in a technical field. MBA / Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 3 years in an eCommerce, consumer technology, and/or financial technology company, preferably in managing commercial or risk projects
Experience in large scale project management and in leading and executing cross-organizational / cross-functional initiatives
Experience driving risk improvements that have resulted in measurable business impacts
Experience presenting impact and value proposition through data and metrics
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for leadership / board level comms
